Who We Are

Janice Arnoldi and Robin McPherson began their partnership in 1998 when they opened their web design company,  Original Individuals.  Over the past 14 years they have worked with corporate, sports, non-profit and small business clients. By 2009, Janice and Robin recognized the immense possibilities social media offered their business clients and formed arnoldi:mcpherson.  They have a strong communications background in journalism, corporate communications, photography and customer relations.

Janice and Robin are two of the founding members of Social Media Club Niagara.  The motto is “If you get it, Share it!”.  SMC Niagara meets monthly to discuss, learn and, most importantly, share experiences and knowledge about social media.   In the two years since the club started, SMC Niagara has grown to 1,100 followers on Twitter, 280 fans on Facebook and more than 260 members on Linkedin.

Janice Arnoldi – Partner

Janice is a former radio journalist who has worked in corporate communications for Ontario Hydro and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.  She speaks regularly about social media to business organizations and associations.  She has taught New Media at the International Academy of Design in Toronto and at Niagara College.  Janice won the Canadian Mental Health Consumer Volunteer award for her work on the national organization’s website and is a former member of the board of directors of CMHA Niagara. Robin McPherson – Partner

Robin’s focus is on analyzing, researching and studying the world of social media and its impact on the world around us.  She is always looking at new social tools and how they can be applied to different situations and clients.  Robin is currently the Co-Chair of the City of St. Catharines Heritage Committee, a member of the St. Catharines Downtown Development Revitalization Committee and on the board of Niagara Timeraisers.  Robin studied History at the University of Toronto, Adult Education at Niagara College and Photography at Sheridan College. You can get in touch with Robin at robin@arnoldimcpherson.com.
