In March 2012, Matt Tomasulo of CityFabric and a small group of like minded folks put up signs at 3 intersections in Raleigh, North Carolina that showed how far (or close) places were when you walk. This one time event turned into Walk [YourCity] and a Kickstarter campaign and has slowly been spreading across the United States.
Inspired by Matt and that all too often we hear that it’s too far to walk in our city, we are working to bring Walk [YourCity] to St.Catharines. If you would like to be a part of Walk [St.Catharines] please get in touch with Robin.
